| With the development of football, the changeable formation and the fast pace of attack and defense, the requirements for players on the field have become more stringent. In the competition, players should give full play to the individual’s technical and tactical ability. At the same time, they should also have sufficient physical fitness and reaction speed.Agility is a comprehensive reflection of a variety of physical qualities, which puts forward higher requirements for the agility quality. The training period for football specialized students is generally short, and they did not receive systematic football training in their adolescence. However, the university football courses focus more on football technical training while less on physical training, and neglect agility training.Aim: This study used the agility quality as an entry point to develop an experimental intervention for plyometrics training for football specialized students of Shenyang Sport University.Selected multiple test indicators that reflect the agility quality of football sports were used to verify experimentally that plyometrics training has a positive effect on the agility qualities of football specialized students;.Through the analysis of the test indicators, the reasons for the effects on the agility quality of football specialized students had been explored. Methods: Literature data, expert interview, mathematical statistics methods and experimental methods were used in the study. The experimental intervention was conducted on 16 players of football specialized students of Shenyang Sport University, and a plyometrics training program was applied in the experimental group, while a resistance strength training program was applied in the control group. In this study,a total of 8 test indicators including standing long jump,4x10 m reentrant run,"T" shape run test,Rollator type test,AFL test(no ball, balled),Illinois test,Nelson’s Choice Response test were selected, and the statistical analysis of experimental test data was performed between and within groups using SPSS Statistics 20 Software.Result: After the 8-week plyometrics training intervention, all 8 test indicators in the experimental group showed significant changes. However, the control group showed significant changes only in four of the test indicators.Between groups,a significant difference was observed between the experimental and control groups in three of eight test indicators.Conclusion:1.The plyometrics training could effectively improve lower limbs’ explosive force. Both groups had obvious effects on improving the explosive force of the lower limbs in standing long junmp, but the increase in the control group was lower than that in the experimental group, indicating that plyometrics training, compared with conventional resistance training, can better improve the lower limbs’ explosive force of football specialized students, thereby improving agility qualities better.2.The plyometrics training was effective in improving the agility qualities of football specialized students in ball free situations..Students in the experimental group all improved to various degrees on the six ball free agility tests, which yielded a significant difference. And the test scores of the control group were compared between groups, and significant differences were found in three of them, which indicated that the lift efficiency was higher than that of the control group.3.The plyometrics training significantly improved the AFL ball test performances of football specialized students, indicating that the improvement of agility qualities is helpful for students’ ability to combine balls, and plyometrics training can achieve the goal of improving the technical level of football by enhancing students’ agility.4.A total of 16 students in both groups achieved gains in all the agility tests after the experiment, indicating that agility qualities were more influenced by the lower limb muscle strength and explosive force. Both training methods have achieved their goal of enhancing agility by improving muscle strength, and plyometrics training is a more effective training method. |
