The mental health of postgraduates has been neglected in the work of mental health in colleges and universities.In recent years,the scale of graduate students is becoming larger and larger,and psychological crisis events occur frequently,frequently raising the climax of public opinion.Postgraduates are regarded as the main reserve army of national scientific research work,and the guarantee of the comprehensive development of the body and mind of postgraduates can provide a steady stream of scientific research talents for the modernization of society.The neglect of mental health work of postgraduates will cause serious consequences and influences to the society and the country.Therefore,the mental health problems of graduate students have been widely concerned by researchers.Through literature research,this study conducted a comprehensive review of the related studies on fear of tutors’ negative evaluations,research self-efficacy,research anxiety and the meaning in life,and found that there was a certain relationship between these four variables.Therefore,this study used the fear of tutors’ negative evaluation scale,the research self-efficacy questionnaire,and the research anxiety questionnaire,meaning in life questionnair,to wuhan university graduate student,finally 398 effective questionnaires were taken back,mainly to discusses the relationship among the fear of tutors’ negative evaluation,research self-efficacy,research anxiety and meanning in life,so as to provide more suggestions for the mental health work of graduate students according to the research conclusions.Through SPSS22.0 statistical analysis of the valid data obtained from the survey,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)There are significant differences in the fear of negative evaluation of tutors among graduate students;The research self-efficacy has significant difference in gender;Research anxiety has significant difference in whether they have worked before and marital status;There are significant differences between research anxiety and research self-efficacy in academic background.(2)There was a significant correlation between the fear of tutors’ negative evaluation,research anxiety,research self-efficacy and life meaning.The fear of tutors’ negative evaluation positively predicted the meaning in life,but negatively predicted the present of meaning.(3)Research anxiety has a significant mediating effect on both the present of meaning and the search for meaning.Research self-efficacy significantly moderates the mediating effect of research anxiety on the fear of tutors’ negative evaluation on the search for meaning.
