| The spiritual condition of the times is reflected in each one of us,and so is education.There are already some educational scholars who are concerned about the spiritual condition of education and recognize the need to go back to the original point of education to re-examine educational issues.As one of the earliest scholars in China to focus on the issue of educational anthropology,the core of Lu Jie’s educational anthropology lies in the fact that the original point of education is to nurture people.Her educational thinking and practice always shine with the light of humanity,and she is a "human being" with a capital letter.Following the line of "human being",we explore Lu Jie’s thinking on people in education and sort out his philosophical thoughts on the origin of education,which is of positive relevance to the current educational reality,awakening more educators’ awareness of the "origin" and regaining the true nature of education.This paper begins with the background of the formation of Lu Jie’s philosophy of educational origin,and analyzes Lu Jie’s oral history,interviews,and other materials to find that the formation of her ideas is closely related to her life experience,the background of her time,and her path of governance.Secondly,the claims of Lu Jie’s philosophical thought on the origin of education are analyzed and summarized into the following four aspects.First,nurturing people: the origin of education.Second,people in relationship: the unfolding of the origin of education.Third,the transcendence of man and the transcendent man: the deepening of the origin of education,and fourth,people towards world history: the vision of the goal of the origin of education.Finally,the above four propositions are used to summarize the modern value implications of this idea,to awaken the confused origin of education,to help education return to its true form,to establish a people-oriented education in the new era,and ultimately to cultivate a new man for the world.The significance of Lu Jie’s scholarship lies in his reflections on the times and her quest for true education.The purpose of combing through Mr.Lu Jie’s philosophy of educational origin is to let contemporary educational scholars remember the educational family name and educational origin,and establish the educational origin as the foundation and starting point of all educational work,which is also the educational value implication of the study of the philosophy of educational origin. |
