Effects Of Implicit Self-esteem On Materialism In Secondary Vocational Students

Materialism refers to a personal value that emphasizes the importance of possessing material wealth.Originated from Western philosophy,it is also called materialism.In the age of materialism,young people who are the successors of socialism are inevitably affected by materialism.These influences include the time wasted in the process of pursuing materialism and the development of bad materialistic values,which led to teenagers violating the principles of students’ learning and establishing good social values,which affected their subjective well-being,life satisfaction and even It is the family that causes a series of behavioral problems.At present,the research on the formation mechanism and intervention measures of the secondary vocational biomassist values is not deep enough.The research on the secondary vocational biomassist values and its internal mechanism can better prevent and scientifically control them.Based on materialistic values,this research explores the factors that affect materialistic values—implicit self-esteem,social comparative tendency,self-control and the relationship between them,and then uses group counseling intervention to change individual self-control based on social comparative tendency Level,thereby reducing materialistic valuesResearch 1: An e-prime test and a questionnaire survey were conducted in a secondary vocational school in Jiangxi Province,and 165 valid questionnaires were obtained.The 165 collected data were statistically analyzed using spss24.0.The results of the research are as follows:(1)The implicit self-esteem effect of secondary vocational students is significant(2)The values of biomassism in secondary vocational schools show significant differences in different grades.The materialism of students in grade 18 is significantly higher than that of students in grade 19.(3)The social comparison tendency of secondary vocational students is significantly higher than that of rural students in the place of origin,and there are also significant differences in the educational background of parents.The social comparison tendency of students with a parent’s degree and above is significantly higher than that of parents Students in junior high school and below are higher,and those whose parents’ education is junior high school or below tend to be significantly higher than those whose parents’ education is college or undergraduate.(4)The self-control ability of urban students is significantly lower than that of rural students.(5)The implicit self-esteem of secondary vocational students has a negative predictive effect on materialism(6)The social comparison of secondary vocational students tends to play a mediating role in the negative prediction of implicit self-esteem on materialist values.(7)The intermediary model of the relationship between implicit self-esteem,social comparison tendency and materialistic values of secondary vocational students is regulated by self-control.Research 2: Taking the students of Jiangxi Institute of electronic information technologists as the research object,using the screening questionnaire of materialistic values,social comparison tendency and self-control ability,30 students in the intervention group and 30 students in the control group were selected.The intervention group was given group psychological counseling intervention for 8 times,and the control group was not given any treatment.The results showed that: group psychological counseling intervention was effective It is of positive significance to the secondary vocational school values.
