| In recent years,the experts and scholars have conducted more and more studies on the capacity building of social work,but most of them focus on the cultivation of common professional ability and professional ability of social workers.And few of them analyze and study how to boost the productivity of social workers from the perspective of social workers themselves.Based on the front-line workers,this paper discusses the process of studying picture book technology and its effect on the self-ability building of front-line practitioners.The picture books are ones that tell stories mainly with pictures.As a new tool for parent-child communication and family education,they have been popular among young parents in recent years.Reading picture books and parent-child story meetings are also gradually being designed and carried out by social workers as service contents.In this paper,researcher studied and applied picture book technology in person and developed the project "Empowerment of Social Worker · Picture Book Course" with other social workers.This project provides online and offline training for social workers who are interested in it and willing to try it in daily work.Through full participation and deeply communication,the research combing with the experience of learning and applying the picture book technology,shows the picture book technology on self-ability building of social workers.The results of the research show that the learning process of picture book technology based on common interests plays a positive role in promoting the self-ability building of social workers: it improves the practical ability of social workers,cultivates differentiated technologies,and improves their career motivation and career confidence. |
