The Problems And Optimization Countermeasures Of Private Colleges And Universities Serving The Local Economic Development

Colleges and universities provide a large number of talents for local economic development and play an important role in local economic development.As one of the talent training bases and scientific research centers,private colleges and universities are an important part of China’s higher education,providing a large number of highquality applied talents for local economic development.Private colleges and universities should take serving the local economy as their own responsibility,improve their own school running ability while serving the local economy.They should be more realistic in school running orientation,personnel training,scientific research,professional construction,curriculum construction,etc.,and more in line with the needs of local economic development for talents.However,at present,there are many problems in private colleges,such as imperfect management mechanism,imperfect personnel training system,poor research atmosphere,and lack of in-depth school enterprise cooperation,which restrict the effectiveness of private colleges in serving local economic development.Based on the literature,field investigation and expert interview,this paper first understands the domestic and foreign scholars’ models of colleges and universities serving local economic development,studies the characteristics of private colleges and universities serving local economic development by taking K University as a case,analyzes the main functions and capacity requirements of private colleges and Universities Serving local economic development,and the current situation of K university serving local economic development,such as local economic development Then it analyzes the problems of K University in the process of serving the local economy,such as the weak sense of serving the local economy,the low transformation of scientific research,the low quality of personnel training,the lack of cooperation between graduates and local governments On this basis,it puts forward the optimization strategies from the perspectives of strengthening the school running concept,deepening the school enterprise cooperation,improving the quality of school running and improving the level of scientific research,so as to provide some reference for promoting the development of private colleges and Universities Serving the local.
