As an extension of the real social network,social networking sites are more inclined to share their positive aspects on the Internet to achieve the goal of establishing a perfect image due to their unique open nature.When teenagers browse the uploaded information by others on social networking sites,they will spontaneously generate upward social comparison behaviors,which may lead to some negative problems such as negative physical self,the researchers found that the process is not set in motion and is mediated by variables such as self-affirmation.In addition,social anxiety caused by social networking sites is on the rise.Moreover,compared with their peers,secondary vocational students are more likely to have social problems in school life.Therefore,this study is divided into two parts to investigate the relationship between social comparison on social networking sites and social anxiety of secondary vocational students,and to provide a new intervention perspective for alleviating social anxiety of secondary vocational students.Study 1,695 secondary vocational students were selected as the objects.Social anxiety scale for adolescent,the upward social comparison scale of social networking sites,negative physical self scale and self-affirm information were used to explore the influence of social comparison on social networking sites and social anxiety of secondary vocational students,The results showed that:(1)The upward social comparison of social networking sites has significant positive correlation with social anxiety of secondary vocational students;(2)Negative physical self played a partial mediating role in the mechanism of social comparison on social networking sites on social anxiety of secondary vocational students;(3)Self-affirmation plays a moderating role in the mechanism of social comparison on social networking sites on negative physical self.Study 2,using the curriculum intervention program,this paper explores whether the negative physical self intervention designed from the perspective of cognition has an effect on the negative physical self and social anxiety of secondary vocational students.The intervention group and control group were randomly selected,with 30 students in each group.The intervention group was given 8 times of course intervention by a pre-and post-test design.The control group had normal classes according to the school curriculum,once a week for 45 minutes for 8 weeks.The results showed that: Negative physical self intervention can effectively improve the negative physical self,reduce social anxiety problems of secondary vocational students and improve the mental health level of secondary vocational students. |
