In recent years,vigorously implementing the strategy of rural revitalization and global industrial transfer have brought rare opportunities for the development of rural areas in China,and promoted the development of township industries.Under the background of social development,township factories with labor and product processing as the main orientation have been established one after another,providing a certain employment opportunity for the remaining rural labor force-left-behind women,and at the same time creating a new social role group-left-behind women workers,which has the dual characteristics of left-behind women and factory women workers.After more than 40 years of reform and opening up,the urban economy and society have developed rapidly,and social mobility has accelerated.A large number of young farmers have gone to work in cities,which has caused the problem of left-behind groups in rural areas.Many scholars have paid more attention to and studied left-behind women,but the problems of left-behind women workers have not attracted the attention of scholars,and rarely appear in the research objects of scholars.In the past,the role conflict problems generally focused on the urban professional women groups,and few scholars studied the role conflict problems of the left-behind women workers,and the dual identities of the left-behind women workers determined that they would face more serious problems.Therefore,this paper selects social gender as the research perspective,takes the left-behind women workers in W Factory of Henan Province as the research object,collects field information through participatory observation and semi-structured interview,tries to analyze and discuss the role conflicts they face,and puts forward suggestions from the perspectives of gender and social work,to help alleviate the role conflicts of left-behind women workers.It is found that the left-behind women workers are faced with multiple role conflicts,including both explicit conflicts which are easy to distinguish and implicit conflicts which are difficult to detect.Although multiple role conflicts bring pressure and burden to left-behind women workers,and strengthen the traditional role division of left-behind women workers from the side,it is undeniable that role conflicts enrich the role experience,which is conducive to promoting women workers’ self-awakening and indirectly promoting their abilities.Correspondingly,the left-behind women workers also have their own set of coping strategies to maintain their basic life balance.From the perspective of gender,the attribution of the role conflict of left-behind women workers will find that the physiological difference is the initial origin,while the traditional gender division of labor and unequal gender system are the root of the conflict.Based on this,this paper puts forward suggestions and appeals from the perspectives of gender and social work,to create an equal gender culture for women and gradually improve the current situation of role conflict.
