With the accelerating industrial upgrading and economic restructuring, the society’s demand for technical and technical talents is increasing.Specialty setting is the connection point between secondary vocational education and industrial development, which must be adjusted closely with the pace of industrial structure. In this paper, six secondary vocational schools in Yunfu City are taken as the practical research objects, and the methods of literature research and statistical analysis are used to analyze the adaptability between the specialty setting and the industrial structure of secondary vocational schools in Yunfu City in combination with the overall situation of economic development, the development status of the three industrial structures, and the development status of traditional pillar industries and characteristic industries. It is found that the specialty setting of secondary vocational schools in Yunfu basically covers three industries, but there are still some problems such as repeated construction of some specialties and incomplete coverage of specialty categories. The study also found that the three industrial structures are not suitable for the employment structure and specialty setting structure. The specialty setting of secondary vocational education is mainly concentrated in the tertiary industry, and the specialty setting of the primary and secondary industries is too few.The existing specialty structure cannot meet the talent needs of the development of traditional pillar industries and characteristic industries. It also discusses the reasons for the incompatibility from three levels: government, school and society, mainly because the local government does not pay enough attention to the basic position of secondary vocational education and the macro-control is insufficient;Secondary vocational schools have insufficient awareness of setting up specialties based on regional economy,one-sided pursuit of "hot" specialties in the market, and limited education funds, high cost of setting up specialties, shortage of "double-qualified" teachers, lack of practical training equipment and other factors restrict the setting up of specialties; The lack of deep integration of production and education with industries and enterprises also leads to the inability of specialty setting to adapt to the industrial structure. Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the government’s macro-control of specialty setting and coordinate the layout of specialty development;Give full play to the main role of the school, adjust the specialty setting based on the changing trend of industrial structure, rely on the local economy to build characteristic specialties, and promote characteristic specialty clusters through joint running of schools by groups;Improve the enthusiasm of enterprises to participate in the specialty setting of secondary vocational education and realize the coordinated development of enterprises and vocational education. |
