Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Professional Dedication In Guangxi Undergraduate Colleges

According to the report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,"advocating patriotism,dedication,honesty and friendliness,and actively cultivating socialist core values","dedication" has become an important value requirement at the individual level.The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China puts forward that we should build a knowledge-based,skilled and innovative workforce,carry forward the spirit of labor models and craftsmen,and create a glorious social atmosphere of labor and a dedication to excellence.When the pneumonia epidemic in COVID-19 hit at the beginning of 2020,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core,led the people of all ethnic groups in their respective posts to be responsible and conscientious,vividly interpreting the connotation and meaning of "dedication".Dedication is not only a kind of personal work attitude,but also an important foundation to ensure social harmony and order.College students have the historical mission of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Undergraduate education is an important part of higher education in China,and undergraduate colleges and universities are an important position to cultivate the view of professional dedication.The cultivation of undergraduate students in Guangxi is an urgent need to realize the "two centenary goals",to improve the comprehensive quality of the students and promote their all-round development,or to inherit the excellent traditional culture and boost the construction of magnificent Guangxi.Based on the empirical investigation of six undergraduate colleges,such as Guangxi University,Guangxi Medical University,Guangxi University for nationalities,Guilin University of Electronic Technology,Yulin normal University and Baise University,it is found that the cultivation of college students’ view of professional dedication in Guangxi undergraduate colleges is generally developing well,and the level of professional quality of college students is generally in the upper middle level.However,some college students have some problems,such as lack of deep cognition,impure motivation,uncertainty and inconsistent knowledge.It is a long-term and arduous task to promote the benign development of college students’ view of professional dedication,which requires not only the hard cultivation of schools,society and families,but also the efforts of college students themselves.Firstly,by improving the effectiveness of classroom cultivation,enriching extracurricular cultivation activities,improving the dedication evaluation system,strengthening the construction of teachers and fund investment,to create the main position of college students’ view of professional dedication.Secondly,optimize the social environment cultivated by dedication concept by improving the incentive mechanism of dedication behavior and creating a social atmosphere of advocating dedication.Thirdly,through setting up the correct family education idea,strengthening the cooperation with the school and the society,and paying attention to the words and deeds of the professional aspect,we should strengthen the influence of the family’s professional dedication view.Finally,through improving their own moral cultivation and professional quality,improve the ability to distinguish bad ideas,enhance the professional practice and exercise three ways to improve the college students’ professional view of self-education.
