| The professional development of special education teachers is the key to the development of special education in China.As the fresh force and backbone of the future development,the professional development of the novice teachers of special education is not only the need of the expansion and development of the teachers of special education in our country,but also the important support of the development of special education.As the initial stage of the teacher’s career,the novice teacher’s period plays a vital role in the following professional development.Paying attention to the professional development of novice teachers in special education is not only the need of current special education research,but also the subjective demand of individual teachers’ development.As the starting point of Teachers’ career,the novice teachers of special education are faced with many unavoidable perplexities,always having this or that question,also experiencing this or that turbulence.On the basis of studying and using the existing research results for reference,this paper uses the method of purposive sampling to make a case study of a novice special education teacher in a school in Guangxi.This study combs the professional growth process of Liu Yun,a novice teacher of special education,and analyzes his growth story in order to explore the educational implication and value behind his story.On the basis of this,this study presents and analyzes the three-dimensional story of teacher Liu Yun’s pre-service training,post-service growth and future choice,this paper mainly discusses why Liu Yun,a novice teacher of special education,chose special education,how to become a special education teacher and how to grow up in the practice of education,this paper analyzes the growth and change of professional philosophy,professional knowledge and professional ability during the three years’ growth.The study found that with a good foundation of special education professional knowledge and a strong sense of self-growth,in three years of service,novice special education teacher Liu Yun successfully passed the induction period,and its professional philosophy,professional knowledge and professional ability have achieved phased growth,and gradually become a fully qualified teacher.The paper also analyzes the motive force and resistance system of professional development,and puts forward four development suggestions: raising scientific research consciousness,attaching importance to and writing reflective text,making clear development orientation of the school and constructing social support system.As an independent individual,the development experience of novice teachers can not be copied,but the educational value and significance of the contextualization behind the development story,which has certain thinking and exploration,is worth us to savour.As an educational narrative study,this study is not intended to explore the universal conclusions and significance of the study,but to pay more attention to the true story and the interpretation of situational meaning,as well as the Enlightenment and realization from the growth story.This research presents the rich and vivid development process and story of Liu Yun,a novice teacher of special education,and encourages readers to interpret and construct the meaning of her development story,hoping to arouse readers’ thinking and inspiration,more attention should be paid to the individual professional development of novice teachers in special education. |
