With the development of information technology,the 5G era has arrived.More and more information technology is used in the field of education in anticipation of enhancing students’ interest in learning,broadening their international horizons in the information age,and developing lifelong learning capabilities.The educational changes brought about by the development of information technology put forward higher requirements for teachers’ information teaching ability,especially in the subject of geography.Teachers,as the leaders of primary and middle school students,their teaching ability will determine the level of China’s social informatization in the future.This research investigates the status quo of the information teaching ability of senior geography teachers in Qinghai Province,and proposes teacher ability development strategies from three aspects: overall,pertinence and practical guidance.Research indicates:(1)The informatization teaching ability of Qinghai senior high school geography teachers is generally at an intermediate level,but the average value of the informatization teaching management and technical knowledge(TK)dimensions is low,so that it is more difficult to create a learning atmosphere that attracts students’ active participation in teaching of.(2)The information teaching ability of Qinghai senior high school geography teachers differs among different educational backgrounds,teaching ages and school types,and this difference is significant,while the differences in gender and teaching type are not statistically significant.Teachers with high academic qualifications perform relatively better in information-based teaching attitudes and awareness,technical knowledge(TK),and integrated technology pedagogy knowledge(TPK);high-quality school teachers usually have better preparation capabilities for information-based teaching,while in technical knowledge(TK)And geographic subject content knowledge(CK)dimensions have no obvious advantages;teachers with long teaching experience generally have low attitudes and awareness of informatization teaching,but knowledge of pedagogy(PK),geographic subject content knowledge(CK)and geographic subject teaching methods Good grasp of knowledge(PCK).(3)The key element that affects the informatization teaching ability of high school geography teachers is informatization teaching evaluation and integrated technical pedagogy knowledge(TPK).The integrated technical geography pedagogy knowledge is an important element of informatization teaching knowledge.Informatization teaching Evaluation ability has a profound impact on teachers’ information teaching practice and application ability.Aiming at the current situation of Qinghai senior high school geography teachers’ informatization teaching ability,it is proposed to maintain the recognition of informatization teaching,handle the relationship between traditional and informatization teaching,search for suitable informatization teaching mode based on existing resources,and change the existing training that only lacks assessment The overall improvement strategy of the status quo model.Then it puts forward targeted strategies according to the status quo of different groups of geography teachers in Qinghai high school,and finally takes the informatization teaching of the content of "river landform development" as an example to provide realistic reference for the informatization teaching of geography teachers in Qinghai high school. |
