In the high-intensity physical confrontation of rugby,the strength quality of the players is very important to improve the competitive ability and play the technical and tactical level.Through the research on the characteristics of strength training in winter of national men’s Sevens Rugby team,this paper explores the strength training methods and load adaptability of rugby players on the basis of ensuring their health,so as to improve their competitive ability and adapt to the increasing competition intensity.Therefore,an in-depth and detailed study of the characteristics of rugby players’ strength training is helpful to update and improve the scientific concept of rugby specific physical training in China,to understand rugby players’ strength training from a comprehensive perspective,and to enrich the theory and method system of rugby specific physical training on this basis,It provides valuable reference for strength training design ideas and ideas.This study uses the methods of literature,field investigation,interview and mathematical statistics to analyze the strength training process of male football players during winter training.The following conclusions are drawn:1、 the national team athletes’ strength training effect during winter training is good,and the improvement of strength quality,the changes of muscle girth and body composition basically achieve the training target.During the winter training,the strength training program is in line with the law of sports training,which has a certain scientific and practical value.2、 After winter training,there were significant changes in the six items of strength quality test(P < 0.05),which showed that the comprehensive strength quality of lower limbs,upper limbs and trunk of athletes had been significantly improved after three stages of strength training.Among them,the improvement of trunk strength quality is the largest.3、 There was no significant difference in the measurement results of muscle girth of group a athletes before and after winter training(P > 0.05),but there was significant difference in the detection results of body composition.After winter training,the weight,body fat and BMI of athletes decreased,and the growth of skeletal muscle content was very beneficial to the improvement of athletes’ strength quality,especially the improvement of relative strength.Before and after winter training,there were significant differences in the measurement results of group B athletes’ muscle girth except hip circumference(P < 0.05),and there were significant differences in the detection indexes of body composition after winter training(P < 0.05).The growth of weight,body fat,skeletal muscle and BMI after winter training had a positive impact on the improvement of athletes’ strength quality,and had a positive impact on Athletes’ physical confrontation ability,body weight,body fat,skeletal muscle and BMI The development of special technical and tactical capabilities plays an important role.There were significant differences in arm circumference,leg circumference,neck circumference and chest circumference before and after winter training(P < 0.01).There were significant differences in body fat and skeletal muscle content before and after winter training(P < 0.01).
