It is a relatively new mode for universities to run schools in different places and make use of their own advantages to carry out in-depth cooperation in many aspects.In the process of running a branch campus in other city,local governments play a very important role.In line with the principle of win-win cooperation,local governments will take a series of supporting measures in various ways to support the construction and development of the branch campus of university.The colleges and universities and local governments is harmonious coexistence.Local governments and universities require cooperating in-deep to achieve the coordinated development because of their harmonious coexistence of social and economic development.On the one hand,local governments should start from the requirement of achieve regional strategic goals,enhance support for regional universities,make overall planning,and realize resource co-construction and sharing.On the other hand,universities should constantly expand their functions of serving the local areas,find out the orientation and characteristics of running branch campus according to the local location characteristics,and actively carry out school-site cooperation.In this process,the relationship between the government and universities has always been a key issue accompanying the development of higher education in China,and it is also an important manifestation of the transformation of government functions.It will help local governments to formulate development plans correctly and better build and develop local social economy.Based on the case of the coordinated development of local government and Guilin University of Technology At Nanning,research and analyze the cooperation and problems of local government and the branch campus of university located in other city by using the methods of literature research and case study,etc.On the basis of induction and analysis,this thesis considers the strategy of synergetic development between local government and a branch campus of university located in other city to provide reference for other same practices.
