Technology’s influence on human,education and teachers is profound.The integration of education and technology is inevitable,technology and teacher’s work and life will be an integral.Under this background and trend,recognizing the existence value of the technology in education,the technology’s role to the teachers,the relationship between teachers and technology and the reasonable and effective use of teachers’ technical practice,becomes one of the key elements to review teacher’s survival and development.This paper uses historical approach and comparative method to study the development history of teachers’ technology,explore the interactive relationship and trend between teachers and technology,summarize and compare the characteristics and changes of the relationship between them in differentperiods.The relationship between teachers and technology is absent from the perspective of technology,which is hidden in the relevant discussions in the fields of technology philosophy,pedagogy and educational technology.This paper makes a broad definition of the "technology",and accords to the definition of “media technology”ineducational technologyresearch.Use directand indirectway toexamine “the phenomenonof educationtechnology-educationsystem",through"educationtechnology,teachingforms,teachingmethods,teachers’ role,teachers’ quality,teacher development and training,the teachers’ professional evaluation"sevenaspects,that could divideteacherdevelopment intofivehistory stages:oral era,manualwriting age,the print age,electronic communication era,and digital age.On the whole,the development of teacher technology presents three main characteristics: gradual complexity,increasing proportion of use and lagging behind.Teachers and technology show a certain degree of "synchronization",but the relationship between them shows some differences in different technological ages.The new challenges mainly come from the unprecedented expansion of the teaching field,the rapid change of the demand for knowledge,the re-establishment of the teaching order and the binding of technical rationality.The relationship between teachers and technology is bound to face the "symbiosis" again:“Technology” is the way of human existence.Teachers must achieve the symbiosis with technology in the structure of "teacher-technology",virtual existence has become a vivid representation of contemporary teachers’ living appearance.It is an inevitable choice for the symbiosis between teachers and technology.In reality,there is agame betweenteachers and technology behind thepractice oftechnology,whichis reflected in the balance between efficiency and fairness of education.The effective symbiosis between teachers and technology requiresthat thepractice of technology should be unified with justification,that is,use technology and use technology in accordance with morality and humanity.
