| Job burnout is more or less a normal situation for doctors.How to solve doctors’ job burnout problems from micro perspective is a challenge.A survey was conducted among 105 doctors in H Hospital in Y District of A city by proportional stratified sampling,supplemented by observation and interview.The result shows that the investigated doctors have burnout symptoms such as emotional exhaustion,low self-efficacy and low professional identity.The reasons for this include : having no ways to release their negative emotions,questioning themselves for the gap between professional ideals and realities,being influenced by tense doctor-patient relationships.In terms of the situation and causes of job burnout,a doctor’s job burnout intervention model using group painting therapy is designed,which is based on psychological projection theory and includes the following sessions: "room-tree-man" and "secret garden" paintings,aimed at emotional exhaustion;theme paintings on "the moments of highlights and depressions" and "Zen around Mandala",aimed at self-efficacy;theme paintings on " occupation re-recognition ",aimed at professional identity problems.The effects of the intervention are measured by Job Burnout scale(MBI-GS),supplemented by self-evaluation.The results show that the emotional exhaustion,self-efficacy and professional identity are all improved,leading to the whole job burnout situations are significantly improved,which suggest that painting therapy is suitable for doctor’s job burnout problems. |
