Reminiscence Of The Past,Bined With Painting Therapy To Alleviate The Retirement Syndrome Of Urban Retirees

As we all know,with the continuous development of society,the aging of China’s population has further deepened,and the problems of the elderly have become increasingly diversified.These problems are not only physical,but also psychological.If life is compared to a journey,then the "last stop" of this trip is retirement,and some people say that retirement is like the end of life,representing the passing of the most beautiful days of the past.Some people also say that retirement is like a comma in life,and there is still a long way to go.If retirees cannot adapt to the inevitable phenomenon of retirement,that is,the adaptive function of the mind is impaired,they will suffer from mental illness or even physical diseases,which will affect their later life.If left unaddressed,larger social problems can even arise.When the author investigated and studied the psychology,emotions and living conditions of retirees,he found that most retirees in the S community of Fuxin City generally have retirement syndrome.Based on this,this paper first analyzes the causes of the problem of retirement syndrome.Secondly,the group social work method was used to intervene,and a series of group activities were carried out by combining remembrance with painting therapy,demonstrating the superiority of such methods in solving the problem of retirement syndrome.Finally,practical countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to point out the direction for the solution of the problem of retirement syndrome.In addition,it will help the elderly with retirement syndrome in the S community of Fuxin City to readapt to their psychosocial life and alleviate the adverse effects of this phenomenon as soon as possible.Through reviewing the research results at home and abroad,it is found that most of the research on retirement syndrome stays at analyzing the causes of the problem from the perspectives of medicine,psychology,economics and other perspectives and proposing solutions,which is relatively limited.Therefore,this paper helps retirees alleviate the problem of retirement syndrome from the perspective of social work.This paper is also a kind of practical research on micro-level intervention,which is more practical and pertinent than theoretical research.And the combination of nostalgia therapy and painting therapy to solve the problem of retirement syndrome is a relatively new form.Although this approach has been effective in alleviating retirement syndrome,the sustainability of intervention needs to be followed up.
