College PE optional courses are based on the completion of the comprehensive development of students ’physical fitness.According to the students’ interests,hobbies and specialties,they can choose one or one type of physical education.The implementation of the PE optional courses is a change to the traditional physical education curriculum.Advancement has played an important role in the results achieved in the reform of China’s college physical education curriculum.This paper proposes a multi-dimensional teaching method for teaching experiments.Based on the combination of technical movements involving large muscle groups,the ball feels under the control of the nervous system in a single technical movement involving precise small muscle groups.Multi-dimensional training thinking is proposed.On this basis,a multi-dimensional volleyball teaching plan is designed for different technical links,and the teaching effect of the traditional teaching plan is compared and analyzed to demonstrate the feasibility and advantages of the multi-dimensional training teaching method in volleyball teaching.The study takes the multi-dimensional training teaching method in the experiment of volleyball elective courses in ordinary colleges and universities as the research object,and takes Liaoning University of Technology(Huludao Campus)2018 undergraduate elective volleyball elective class as an experimental object,and adopts the literature method,Questionnaire survey method,interview method,teaching experiment method,mathematical statistics method,logical analysis method,draw the following conclusions:1.The experimental results of this teaching experiment show that the volleyball learning effect of the students in the experimental class is significantly improved compared to the control group.There is no significant difference in the physical improvement of the students in the multidimensional training teaching method compared with the traditional physical education method.2.The level of physical function of the students in the experimental group is higher than that in the control group;the multidimensional training teaching method can improve the students’ forward flexion,vital capacity and other indicators in the volleyball teaching in a short period of time,and it does not have significant effects on the indicators of height and weight.3.According to the results of this experiment,it can be shown that the experimental group’s interest in volleyball learning is significantly higher than that of the control group after the experiment,indicating that the multi-dimensional training teaching method can increase the interest in learning volleyball,but it has no obvious effect on learning attitude.4.The multi-dimensional training teaching method can improve students’ mastery of volleyball skills in volleyball teaching,and can improve the learning effect of volleyball serve,pad ball,pass and smash.
