| With the further improvement of the mobile communication network environment and the popularization of smart phones, mobile phones have become a daily necessity for people, and the phenomenon of relying on mobile phones has become increasingly prominent. Some college students’ psychological quality is not strong enough, their values are not sound, and they cannot resist the temptation of mobile phones and Internet correctly. They are addicted to them, which seriously affects their normal study and life, and even harms their physical and mental health.A large number of studies have confirmed that physical exercise behavior can improve college students’ mobile phone dependence, but the research on the internal mechanism of this effect is still relatively scarce, and further research is needed. At the same tim e,social anxiety,as an important component of personal susceptibility, can be intervened through physical exercise behavior on the one hand, and is also an important factor in the formation of mobile phone dependence on the other hand.Based on this,487 college students were investigated using the Physical Activity Rating Scale(PARS-3),Interpersonal Anxiety Scale(IAS)and College Students’ Mobile Phone Addiction Inventory(MPATs)to investigate the mediating role of social anxiety in the relationship between physical exercise behavior and mobile phone dependence. The results showed that:(1)The physical exercise behavior of college students in Shijiazhuang City is below the medium level, the social anxiety level is above the medium level, and the mobile phone dependence situation is not optimistic.(2)From the perspective of demographic characteristics, the male students are significantly better than the female students, the urban students are significantly better than the rural students, the students who participate in social organizations are significantly better than those who do not participate in social organizations, and the sophomores and juniors are significantly better than the freshmen and seniors. The level of social anxiety in rural areas was significantly higher than that in urban areas. The level of social anxiety in seniors was significantly higher than that in freshmen, sophomores and juniors. The mobile phone dependence level of female students was significantly higher than that of male students, that of non-participating clubs was significantly higher than that of participating clubs, and that of freshmen and seniors was significantly higher than that of sophomores and juniors.(3)The physical exercise behavior of college students is negatively correlated with social anxiety, mobile phone dependence and their four dimensions, and positively correlated with social anxiety, mobile phone dependence and their four dimensions.(4)Physical exercise behavior has a significant negative predictive effect on College Students’ mobile phone dependence and its four dimensions.Social anxiety plays a partial mediating role between physical exercise behavior and college students’mobile phone dependence and its four dimensions, which indicates that physical exercise behavior can not only directly affect mobile phone dependence, but also indirectly affect the degree of mobile phone dependence by reducing individual social anxiety. To a certain extent, the mediating effect model reveals the mechanism of College Students’ physical exercise behavior affecting mobile phone dependence. It suggests that we should help college students improve the amount of physical exercise and reduce the level of social anxiety to reduce the emergence of mobile phone dependence when we prevent and intervene mobile phone dependence. |
