Abstract/Summary:
Since the 21st century,with the development of economy and the continuous progress of society,both domestic and abroad have paid more and more attention to the disabled.The disabled group has gradually transitioned from the initial isolation and isolation to social integration."Social integration" is the core content of the modern concept of disability,and the main way that special groups can participate normally in social life and exert their personal value.As the most vulnerable group,the disabled have not received adequate social care,especially the issue of social integration of the disabled.Part of this marginalized group is children with special needs.They are not only tortured by physical disabilities,but also rejected and alienated from other social groups.Most special children are vulnerable in a lack of supportive environment,which increases their inferiority and vulnerability,reduces their access to education and participation,and exacerbates the difficulty of social integration of special children.Through the survey and interviews of the needs of special children and caregivers of special children,this article found that special children have less chance of contact with peer groups,are relatively isolated from healthy children of the same generation,and are not understood and accepted by people around them.The Shenzhen X Center project is based on the social exclusion of children with special needs in this society.Children with special needs are eager to integrate into the society.They choose to apply professional social work theory and social work methods for special children and their families.Intervene in children through special working groups in work and home caregivers to improve mood,release stress,lead the way in the form of interaction with parents and children and master certain skills,thereby improving parents’ abilities and creating a favorable environment for children.On the other hand,by learning the basic principles of social integration,improve the ability of special children to resist weakening,so that they have the opportunity to participate in social activities and build relationships with others,so as to promote the social integration of special children.Finally,through the participation of normal children and their parents,a group atmosphere of equal acceptance is created for special children,increasing the understanding and awareness of normal families of special children,and eliminating discrimination against special children.As discovered by the Shenzhen X Center project,social work has played an irreplaceable role in integrating special children into society.This article explores the basic strategies and professional models for promoting the social integration of special children by expounding the related concepts and data analysis of the social integration of disabled Ability to develop potential abilities and promote social participation and social integration of children with special needs.
