Research On Social Work Intervention In Family Service Under The Background Of COVID-19 Epidemic

At the end of 2019,the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 swept across the world,impacting every aspect of society and affecting every family to varying degrees.Under the influence of this public health emergency,some family conflicts have increased and intensified,and the stability and development of families have been threatened to varying degrees.The occurrence of this sudden crisis,makes some family problems and the lack of development ability exposed:family environment changes,family structure changes and other factors make a lot of families difficult to deal with some sudden problems and crises.With the continuous development of the society,these factors will continue to affect the family,the family must improve their resilience to adapt to and solve the constantly changing environment and increasingly complex problems.When the family’s own ability is insufficient,external support becomes very important.The family is an important area of social work services,and social work has been committed to providing a variety of support services to families in need.Social work has the purpose and characteristics of helping people to help themselves,which enables social work services to help families solve current problems on the one hand,and on the other hand,to better empower families to achieve substantial improvement and development of their ability,so that families can better cope with various situations in the future.So in terms of the COVID-19 period,is the development of social work services in our country sufficient to provide effective support to families?Based on this question,this study takes Wuhan City,Hubei Province as an example to carry out an investigation.Social workers,community workers and community residents are the main objects of the investigation,and data are collected through questionnaires and interviews.Through the collation and analysis of the collected data and texts,the services provided by social work for families involved in the COVID-19 epidemic were understood,which mainly included offline services such as personnel screening and material distribution,and online services such as psychological counseling and information consultation.This paper examines the problems of limited participation and lack of professionalism in social work services,and probes into and analyzes the reasons for them.Finally,based on family development in post outbreak era will face the challenges and family service requirements,this paper tentatively puts forward the point of view from the macro,meso and micro three levels,by strengthening the system construction and major construction to improve the family social work service ability,and hope to promote better service for family social work accordingly,improve the family social support,so as to realize ability and further enhance and improve the welfare of the family.
