Research On The Design Of Club Activity Center Of Jinan University Based On The Psychological And Behavioral Needs Of College Students

With the reform of education and constitution in China,as well as the increasing attention of colleges and universities to the comprehensive quality and physical and mental health of students,the problem of how to improve the comprehensive quality of students is gradually paid attention to,and among many activities,participating in community activities is the main channel for college students to improve the comprehensive quality after class.Before the in-depth study of this paper,the author combined with his own experience and the visit to the surrounding colleges and universities,found that although the school in recent years on the environmental design of colleges and universities have a certain research,but for college students to meet the behavioral needs of design research activity center is still relatively few,difficult to adapt to the diversified behavioral needs of contemporary college students.As the main carrier of college students’ after-school activities and social interaction,college students’ community activity center has a direct impact on its quality.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out design research from the perspective of the behavioral needs of college students.Focusing on the above problems,this paper first analyzes the cases of student activity centers in universities at home and abroad,and puts forward the possible problems and shortcomings of the current activity space for college students in China.Secondly,this paper summarizes the existing behavioral and psychological needs theory of college students,and explores the current needs of students for community activity space through the investigation of the University of Jinan and its surrounding universities,and finds the problems existing in the community activity center from the aspects of the development background,geographical location,policies and norms of the University of Jinan.In the end,according to the preliminary research and summary,the society activity center of Jinan University is designed from the aspects of function division,flow line and so on.The society activity center is in line with the students’ behavioral psychological needs of Jinan University.This paper hopes to take the study on the design of community activity space in Jinan University as an example and sum up some feasible suggestions.However,the study has its limitations,and it is hoped that future scholars can further explore the means of environmental design of such space.
