In this contemporary society where science and technology are changing with each passing day,information explosion and knowledge surge,if the huge and special groups of migrant children want to change their current living conditions,improve their quality of life in the future,and better meet the needs of the rapidly developing society,they must receive education,study diligently,improve their learning ability,and build a solid foundation for future development.In recent years,researchers at home and abroad have done more and more research on learning ability,but there are relatively few studies on the learning ability of migrant children.In view of the basic status of primary education,this paper is committed to the relevant research on the learning ability of migrant children in primary schools,in order to further enrich the research content of the current situation and countermeasures of the learning ability of migrant children.Through the relevant research on the connotation and constituent elements of migrant children’s learning ability at home and abroad,this study divides migrant children’s learning ability into three first-level dimensions:learning motivation,learning perseverance and learning ability.on the basis of this,a questionnaire on the learning ability of migrant children in primary school was developed to investigate the current situation of learning ability of 200 migrant children in the fourth,fifth and sixth grades of X Primary School in Yinchuan.And use SPSS20.0 data analysis software to make a statistical analysis of the survey data,and then summarize the existing problems according to the analysis results,and make a thorough analysis of the reasons combined with teacher interviews,and then put forward effective strategies to improve the learning ability of migrant children in X Primary School in Yinchuan.The survey results show that,generally speaking,the learning ability of migrant children in the fourth,fifth and sixth grades of X Primary School in Yinchuan is above the middle level,and the learning motivation is the lowest among the three first-level dimensions.At the same time,there are significant differences in the learning ability of migrant children in the fourth,fifth and sixth grades of X Primary School in Yinchuan City in terms of grade,whether they are student cadres and where they are registered permanent residence:in grade,the level of learning motivation of migrant children in the fifth grade is relatively low;in terms of whether or not to serve as student cadres,the levels of learning perseverance and learning ability of migrant children who are not student cadres are relatively low.On the land where the household registration is located,the level of learning perseverance and learning ability of rural migrant children is relatively low.In view of the problems existing in the current situation of migrant children’s learning ability,this study mainly puts forward the corresponding promotion strategies from the perspectives of learning concept,teachers’ literacy,learning style and evaluation model.From the perspective of learning view:establish a correct view of learning and stimulate the learning ability of migrant children;from the perspective of teacher literacy:improve teachers’ professional literacy and promote the learning ability of migrant children;from the perspective of learning style:enrich the learning style of migrant children,promote the effective improvement of learning ability;from the perspective of evaluation model:establish the concept of developmental learning evaluation to lead the development of migrant children’s learning ability.
