| At the end of the 20th century,the nation’s appeals for reducing the burden on students were increasing.Coupled with the continuous introduction of a series of policies to reduce the burden on primary school students,primary school students are gradually reducing the time they spend in school.Primary school students all over the country leave school at 3:30,which makes many families,especially dual-income families,troubled by the problem of picking up and dropping off their children.The "3:30 problem" has gradually become a major livelihood issue that needs to be resolved.This is not only an inevitable product of education reform,but also a result of changes in family structure after the improvement of living standards.With the development of social economy and the increase of women’s independence consciousness In most families,both parents arc involved in work,especially since the implementation of the second-child policy,the financial and living pressures of young parents have increased.There is an urgent need for schools to carry out after-school services to alleviate the problem of unattended children after school.The contradiction between urgent needs and insufficient supply of after-school services in schools needs to be resolved urgently.Doing a good job in after-school services not only affects the development of education reform,it is also a new requirement for the development of people’s livelihood projects in the new era.In response to the strong appeal of the people,the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Ministry of Education have successively adopted certain measures,ranging from "flexible school leaving","in-school custody" to "after-school services." On the surface,after-school service means working for students after school.At the end of February 2017,the responsible body,participation principles and content form of after-school services were determined in the"Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Doing a Good Job in After-School Services for Primary and Secondary School Students" issued by the General Office of the Ministry of Education,and emphasized that students Safety work and education departments lead and supervise the implementation of after-school services.After-school services have a certain degree of timeliness,fairness,public welfare,diversity,voluntariness and sustainability.The "Opinions" provide guidance for the development of after-school services in different regions,and local governments have gradually begun to implement after-school services in primary and secondary schools.The author conducts a field investigation and research on the implementation of after-school services in C Primary School in R City,Henan Province,and collects information by issuing questionnaires and interviews to school leaders,teachers,parents of students,surrounding communities,and off-campus trustees to further investigate R The current status of after-school services in City C Elementary School.The survey content involves the basic content,organizational form,financial support,main body of responsibility,service effects of after-school services,as well as the attitude and satisfaction of schools,teachers,parents,etc.to after-school services Degrees and expectations.Investigation and research found that C Elementary School in R City has some pioneering and innovation in after-school services,but it also faces many difficulties,such as:schools and teachers are not very motivated;after-school service content is relatively single;after-school service venues are limited;Service time is short;parents;satisfaction is not high.Through investigation and research,it is found that the reasons that affect the development of C primary school’s after-school service development are:incomplete policy implementation,lack of teachers,inadequate financial support,insufficient supply of material resources,unchanged exam-oriented education,and unclear rights and responsibilities of the home,school,and society.To this end,the author,by consulting the literature,combined with the actual status of C primary school’s after-school services,proposes corresponding improvement strategies:legislating to define the legal responsibilities of the school’s after-school services;setting up special funds to ensure the sustainable development of the school’s after-school services;establishing a long-term effect Encouragement mechanism to improve teachers’after-school service enthusiasm;enrich after-school service content and innovate service forms;build a cooperation mechanism inside and outside the school,strengthen dynamic supervision,etc.After-school service has relatively rich experience abroad,but my country’s after-school service is still in the early stages of development,and all aspects are still imperfect.Through this research,it is hoped that the after-school service system in R City and other urban areas in my country will be established and harmonized.Further improve and provide reference suggestions for the implementation of specific work after class services. |
