| In recent years,with the popularization of higher education in our country,higher requirements have been put forward for the quality of teachers in all aspects.In order to do a good job in teacher management,colleges and universities must deepen the work of performance appraisal management.At present,there are still many problems in the performance appraisal management about college teachers,such as the lack of clear appraisal standards,objectives,poor management results,and failure to carry out the appraisal work.Modern colleges and universities should carry out the strategic goals of school long-term planning into teaching,management,scientific research and other work,and comprehensively and systematically implement the management of performance appraisal.Taking Hebei Environmental Engineering College as an example,this paper analyzes the performance appraisal management system about existing teacher.Combining with the management theory of existing performance appraisal,comprehensive questionnaire survey、in-depth interview and literature research method,this paper goes deeply into Hebei Environmental Engineering College to fully understand the existing teachers’ situation in performance appraisal management.First,300 questionnaires were distributed to understand the current situation of teachers’ performance appraisal management,and 278 valid questionnaires were finally recovered.After obtaining the questionnaire,this paper analyzes the current situation of teachers ’performance appraisal management in Hebei Environmental Engineering College.The main problems in teachers’ performance appraisal include: not accurately positioning the objectives of performance appraisal management,not effectively implementing performance appraisal management,large deviation between the formed appraisal results and the actual workload of teachers,failing to form a good incentive effect of performance appraisal management.Secondly,synthesizing the above problems,the causes of these problems are: the system of teachers’ performance appraisal management is not perfect,the importance of teachers’ performance appraisal management is not enough,and the index system of teachers’ performance appraisal is not scientific,lack of feedback from teachers ’ performance appraisal management system.Thirdly,according to the actual situation of the college,the performance appraisal management system is optimized and designed,and the goal,management process and cycle of the teachers ’ performance appraisal are specified,the index is set for the performance appraisal,the weight of the index is defined,and the results of the performance appraisal management are scientifically applied.Finally,the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to clarify the objectives of teachers’ performance appraisal management,optimizes the management process,enhances internal communication and plays an incentive role.This study is beneficial to the college to achieve efficient,scientific and standardized management,optimize the management level of teachers’ performance appraisal,and improve the comprehensive competitiveness of the college. |
