Research On The Subject Construction Of Marxist Theory In Western Universities

As the discipline with the largest geographical coverage in domestic universities,the discipline of Marxism theory has been constructed and developed for more than ten years.It has undergone four development stages: basic preparation for discipline construction,integration and improvement,established development,and optimization and promotion.Important development achievements have been made in discipline construction.The status of the discipline is becoming more and more clear,the discipline system is constantly improving,and the function of the discipline is constantly expanding.While the discipline construction has achieved rapid development,there are also problems of unbalanced and inadequate discipline construction.Especially the western region,as an important part of the construction of Marxist theory disciplines across the country,research on its development status is of great significance to promote the systematic,comprehensive and sustainable development of Marxist theory disciplines.This article takes the subject construction of Marxist theory in western universities as the research object,using comparative analysis,investigation research,and interdisciplinary analysis methods to carry out the subject construction of Marxist theory in western universities from the three aspects of disciplinary construction layout,talent training,and academic production.System analysis.Through investigations,it is found that the Marxist theoretical disciplines in western universities have the problems of unbalanced development of disciplines,lack of foundation for integration of discipline construction,and lack of competitiveness in discipline construction;there are discipline research directions and research in the discipline in terms of talent training.The scope of relevance needs to be improved,the professional attributes of the training program curriculum needs to be optimized,the innovative awareness of the topic selection of the dissertation and the relative lack of awareness of problems;there is an imbalance in academic production,academic influence needs to be improved,and academic production teams need Further strengthen the problem.Facing the problems in the construction of Marxist theoretical disciplines in western universities,we put forward countermeasures and suggestions for strengthening discipline construction in western universities: First,we must optimize the distribution of disciplines,create an atmosphere for discipline construction,achieve leading and demonstration development,strengthen policy support,and promote discipline balance.Develop,strengthen undergraduate professional construction,and promote the integration of discipline construction.The second is to strengthen the management of the academic team.It is necessary to strengthen the management of the tutor team and enhance the sense of responsibility of the tutors.Establish a reward mechanism to stimulate teachers’ motivation for scientific research.The third is to improve the talent training system,standardize the curriculum,optimize the research direction,persist in problem awareness,enhance the influence of the dissertation,strengthen academic training,and cultivate academic standards.The fourth is to improve the discipline construction environment.While leveraging policy advantages to accelerate the discipline construction process,it is also necessary to strengthen academic exchanges,realize resource exchange and sharing,actively participate in evaluation,and promote the healthy,sustained,and high-quality development of Marxist theory disciplines in western universities.
