| As the Tokyo Olympic Games are coming,the Chinese National Diving Team is under greater pressure.Faced with the competing situations and tasks,even though as a huge help for the past excellent performance,the current management system meets chanllenges.It is of practical significance to research on the improvement of this management system,and enhance the performance of the team.Focusing on the management model of the National Diving Team,this essay employs the WSR methodology to analyze the team from the perspectives of Wuli,Shili and Renli,study the reasons for the problems,then provide suggestions.The research discovers that the national team facing several problems in terms of training materials and facilities,technical support,performance assessment system,educations for divers and coaches,mental health care for divers.With the help of WSR theory,this essay studies the reasons of those issues,and provides suggestions as follows:a.Expanding the sources of funds,increasing the funds efficiency;contacting with the manufacturers to design proper equipment,arranging personnel for daily maintenance;b.Resetting reasonable performance assessment system,adding studying contents and ranges,providing lessons for coaches,carrying out study competitions;c.Establishing mental health support team,organizing activities within the team,getting to know the mental ideas of divers and coaches,adding ideology educations,intensifying the sense of crisis,building steady technical support team,with closer cooperation with technical institutes and elites.With this research,we hope it could provide some advice for the improvement of the general management of the National Team.Meanwhile,it widens the application range of WSR methodology on sports. |
