In recent years,the demand for technical talents is increasing with the rapid development of China’s economy.Secondary vocational education is one of the indispensable ways to cultivate technical talents.The use of advanced teaching mode affects the quality of talents.PAD class as a new teaching mode in our country has attracted wide attention in the research of teaching practice.Applying the new teaching mode to the secondary vocational and technical education can solve some problems in the teaching process.Aiming at the problems of students’ low learning interest and low class participation in secondary vocational schools,this paper introduces the teaching mode of PAD class in the course of "Common Tools and Software",and conducts teaching research.Through the teaching practice of one semester,the better teaching effects have been obtained.Through the use of PAD class,students’ ability of active learning and cooperative learning can be cultivated,and students’ class participation,learning interest and academic performance can be improved.The main work and innovation points of this paper are as follows:1.The research of "PAD class" had been sorted out.The paper expounds teaching mode of PAD class,including the concepts,research status,advantages and organizational forms.And it also analyzed the theoretical basis of the PAD class teaching mode.2.Based on the PAD class teaching mode,the teaching process of "Common Tools and Software" had been designed.This paper had analyzed the orientation and objective of this course in the compulsory course setting of computer application specialty.And the content of the course had been modularized.By designing questionnaires,the study situations of students’ learning motivation,class situation and learning style had been analyzed.The teaching process had been designed based on curriculum analysis,learning situation analysis and teaching principles.3.A diversified and multi-dimensional evaluation model had been designed.Through group members’ mutual evaluation,works evaluation,teacher evaluation and other evaluation methods,it had objectively quantified students’ performance in the learning process.In the teaching process,according to the different foundation of students,the paper had set up some multi-level or open homework.And according to different teaching content,this paper had designed different work evaluation tables.The students’ works can be evaluated in a quantitative way.4.The teaching practice had carried out and the teaching effects had been analyzed.The teaching design of PAD class had been applied to the experimental class,and the teaching experiment had been carried out through the control variable method.After teaching reflection,the teaching process had been gradually optimized.We collect data through learning interest scale and satisfaction questionnaire.Combining with students’ learning results,the teaching effects of PAD class had been analyzed.
