In recent years,the emerging sector of innovation and entrepreneurship education has received a great deal of attention in various fields.It first emerged in the United States and has since spread globally,with governments currently attaching great importance to the development of the sector.In order to promote its efficient development,governments have developed different support policies and also established special international organisations to regulate the development of the sector.Higher education institutions,as the main institutions carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship education activities,are vigorously carrying out educational innovation activities in order to improve the effectiveness of teaching,in order to change the mode of thinking,teaching methods,etc.,and to improve innovation and entrepreneurship teaching capabilities,creating new teaching focused on the improvement of students’ innovative thinking and innovation capabilities.In the context of the national proposal of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" and the comprehensive reform of higher education,China’s higher education institutions are in a period of development and exploration,and how to do a good job in innovation and entrepreneurship education is a proposition we must face.Therefore,taking Liaocheng Vocational and Technical College as an example,the thesis firstly introduces the overview of Liaocheng Vocational and Technical College based on the synergy theory and triple helix theory,and secondly analyses and elaborates on the actual situation of the current innovation and entrepreneurship education activities in this school.The problems are: deviation in the concept of innovation and entrepreneurship education,unscientific setting of the innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum,weak innovation and entrepreneurship practice platform and low funding for innovation and entrepreneurship education.The deep-seated reasons are: the lack of advanced innovation and entrepreneurship ideology,the lack of perfect innovation and entrepreneurship education,the lack of long-term cooperation mechanism between government,school and enterprises,and the lack of funding for innovation and entrepreneurship education.In view of the problems and causes of innovation and entrepreneurship education in Liaocheng Vocational and Technical College,and taking into account the actual situation of Liaocheng Vocational and Technical College,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward in terms of establishing the correct concept of innovation and entrepreneurship education,improving innovation and entrepreneurship education,strengthening the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship practice platform and increasing investment in innovation and entrepreneurship education,with a view to improving the comprehensive quality of students in higher vocational colleges,alleviating the pressure of employment of graduates in higher vocational colleges,and providing a good opportunity for other students of the same level of education.The aim is to improve the comprehensive quality of students in higher vocational colleges,alleviate the employment pressure of graduates,and provide a reference basis for other institutions of the same type to enhance the ability and effectiveness of innovation and entrepreneurship education,so as to promote the good development of entrepreneurship education in China.
