Teacher professional development is one of the most important issues in teacher development.Existing in the current situation of special education teachers is not optimistic,expert will for on-the-job teachers in the research of the development of the teachers’ professional education and will have to enter the road of novice teachers has strong reference and guidance,to help teachers in the teaching process to find can effectively enhance the level of self professional ability and improve teaching quality,promote the teachers’ personal growth.This case study on professional development of expert teachers of special education will take two expert teachers of special education in School J as the research objects and systematically and comprehensively present their personal experience,teaching work and professional growth.The purpose of this study is to show the teaching life of two expert teachers of special education,refine the main factors and effective strategies that affect their professional development,and put forward reasonable reform suggestions for reforming the teacher training mode currently being implemented.This research adopts the methods of case study,interview,observation and text analysis to analyze the development course and development stage of the professional development of expert teachers in special education.Researchers through interviews with two expert teachers and the way of communication,understanding,combing the two expert teachers’ personal growth through professional development story,W teacher in the learning phase through regulating admission into the special way,with a sincere heart to treat oneself as the students like flower,always in the education teaching activities to stringent standards themselves,Good at self-reflection in education and teaching activities,and constantly improve their education and teaching level.With the help of the school’s various school-based research and training activities,Ms.Z made continuous progress.After her hard teaching activities,she never forgot to summarize and reflect on the experience,and finally achieved excellent results in the road of special education.In the process of research,researchers have experienced the stage of field investigation,the stage of sorting out the original data and the stage of presenting the research text.Finally,through summarizing and refining,it is found that both expert teachers have a good foundation for pre-service education,stable educational ideals and beliefs,focus on teaching reflection and mutual learning,and other common factors that promote their professional development.However,there are still differences between them in their pre-service professional background and school-based growth environment.Then the researchers put forward some suggestions to promote teachers’ professional development,such as cultivating teachers’ professional belief and spirit,insisting on lifelong learning,strengthening peer collaboration,perfecting personality and paying attention to teachers’ ethics. |
