Professional development of teachers has been a hot issue of educational researchrecently. Through consulting relevant literature, we find that the major problem is thatscholars focus on certain aspects of the teachers’ development, in addition, like to usequantitative research method. We analyze the changes of the teacher’s quality in theprocess of teacher’s professional development by observation, interview and contentanalysis. on the foundation of phenomenology,hermeneutics and process philosophy.Firsly, the study contrastive analyze the teaching on the same content by Mr Yanand Miss G the teaching on the same content in different classes and the teaching on thesame content in different stage of teaching by Mr Yan. The professional quality in theteaching process of Mr Yan have been found.Secondly, we studied the changes ofteaching and research ability by analyzing Mr Yan’s lesson plans and thesis.Thenthrough interview, we studied Mr Yan’s cognitive-affective-volitional development inthe process of becoming the expert. Finally, we summarize the important factors thataffect his professional development. They are the educational spirit advance with thetimes, the solid professional foundation, the reflection awareness and ability, thelifelong study consciousness and the professional feelings of putting a high value on thedevelopment of students.
