| The professional development of the teachers has been the focus of the teacher education at home and abroad.With the continuous development of special education,the research on the professional development of special education teachers is gradually increased.The research focus has gradually shifted from concerning the group of teachers to concentrating on the individual teachers.In recent years,the state has paid attention to teachers of special education from expanding the scale to improving the quality based on the current needs of special education and future education orientation.It is an urgent problem to quickly improve the professional level of front-line special education teachers in the field of special education in China.Therefore,this study further investigates the professional growth of the model teachers in special education schools,which explores not only the path of the professional growth of the special education teachers,but also is the urgent need for excellent special education teachers in the background of deepening education reform of education.This thesis,taking a special education school teacher named “national model teacher” as the subject,and mainly using literature research,interview and case study as the research methods,analyzes the influencing factors and summarizes the growth enlightenment by classifying the teachers’ professional growth stage so as to share effective experience for the professional development of the ordinary special teachers.Chapter one is the introduction.It first elaborates the origin of the research and then moves on revealing the purpose and significance of the research from the perspective of theory and practice.Besides,the chapter sorts out and analyzes the existing research results on Teachers’ professional growth and special education teachers’ professional development.On this basis,the core concepts,theoretical basis and research design are illustrated.Chapter two introduces the professional growth process of teacher Z.The chapter mainly adopts interview narration,to present the growth process of the model teachers again.First of all,the personal background and figures of the model teachers are described in detail.Then,the professional growth process of the teacher is divided into four stages that include pre service normal education,post service adaptation,post service development and post service maturity.Chapter three,based on the description of the growth stage of the teacher Z,adopts the internal and external dichotomy to analyze the internal and external influencing factors of the model teachers’ professional growth.The internal factors are excellent personal quality of the teachers and solid professional quality.The external factors are society,school and important others.Chapter four studies the important enlightenment from teacher Z’s professional growth from two perspectives of teachers’ individual growth and external environment concerning the description of the different stages in the process of model teachers’ professional development and attribution analysis.On the one hand,from the external environment,the state should promulgate some policies to promote the development of special education teachers and strengthen the pre-profession education of the colleges and universities and in-service of profession of the special schools,and build a harmonious and friendly working environment for the special education teachers.On the other hand,for individual teachers,they should give full play to the learning initiative,and improve the ability of reflection and innovation.They also set up firm ideals and beliefs,carry out the unremitting spirit,temper their noble moral sentiment,and have a heart of benevolence. |
