The level of peer communication ability affects children’s future development.Role games are children’s favorite activities.Through children’s role playing,they can promote their communication with their peers and cultivate their good social communication skills.In this study,middle class and senior class children in Z Garden were selected as the research objects.Through the observation of children and the interview of teachers,the children were evaluated by using the Observation Table of Children’s Peer Communication Ability in Role Games,and the differences of children’s peer communication ability were analyzed by SPSS data software.The results show that children’s peer communication ability in role-playing games has the following common characteristics: children can participate in the game smoothly,relaxed and happy;Outstanding language expression ability,good development of polite language;Inability to understand the intention of peers,and weak ability to negotiate with peers;Children like to join the game,will be loved by their peers;Good at cooperating with peers,willing to care and help peers;Peer sharing consciousness is weak,unwilling to get along with children who are isolated.According to the author’s practical observation and interviews with teachers,the reasons tha t affect the development of children’s peer communication ability in role-playing games are sum marized as follows: the creation of game environment,the provision of game materials,the form ulation of game rules,teachers’ guiding strategies and children’s own personality characteristics.In order to improve children’s communication ability,the following educational suggestions are put forward at the end of the study: providing role playing environment conducive to childre n’s communication;Increase role-play materials that are helpful for children’s cooperation;Form ulate the rules of role games that are beneficial to children’s communication;To guide communic ation issues in the game in a timely and appropriate manner;Give full play to the subject status i n children’s games.
