| Education is an important system of human civilization and society,which promotes the overall development of human beings and the overall progress of society.Educational equity is an important foundation of social equity,which reflects the value orientation of social development.At present,the equity of higher education in China,especially the regional higher education,is still an important problem to be solved in the field of education for the social development of our country.This paper analyzes and expounds the research on the equity of regional higher education in the new era by means of literature analysis,data analysis and case analysis,and probes into the theory and practice of regional higher education equity in the new era in combination with the practice of China’s education reform and development.The first part elaborates the research background,significance,current situation,research methods,innovation and shortcomings of the equity of regional higher education in the new era.The second part,based on the definition of the concept of education equity,combs the relevant theoretical basis of higher education equity in China,namely,the education equity thought of Marxist classic writers and the thought of education equity of Marxism in China.The third part analyzes and summarizes the present situation and achievements of the fair development of regional higher education in the new era.The state gives full play to the leverage of policies in the allocation of regional higher education resources,and implements the "slanting" supporting policies for higher education in the central and western regions.These policies reflect the characteristics of pertinence,timeliness and sustainability.Through the optimization of funds input and the improvement of the quality of teachers,the state has achieved relatively gratifying achievements.The fourth part discusses the problems of regional higher education equity in China,which mainly reflect the unfairness of starting point,unfair process and unfair result.These unfairness include the imbalance of spatial distribution,the imbalance of educational funds,the lack of quality assurance and the unequal employment of students.The fifth part discusses the reasons for the problems of higher education equity in the central and western regions,which are not only different in natural and historical conditions,but also in the differences of national policies,economy and culture.The sixth part puts forward the countermeasures to solve the unfair problems in regional higher education in China from the aspects of optimizing the spatial layout of regional higher education,optimizing the construction of regional higher education teaching platform,optimizing the construction of Regional Teachers and optimizing the structure of regional students. |
