A Study On The Integration Of Local Red Culture Into Ideological And Political Education In Colleges And Universities

College students are the country’s precious talent resources,is the main object of ideological and political education work,and their ideological dynamics is related to the development of the nation.It is the inevitable choice and due meaning to strengthen the ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the new era to firmly grasp the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue and insisting on educating people by culture and literature.As an important part of red culture,local red culture has great theoretical and practical value in carrying out ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Taking Wuchang as an example,Wuchang red culture is the precious wealth created by the people of Wuchang under the leadership of the Communist Party of China in the revolution,construction and reform,and is the concentrated embodiment of the Party’s fine tradition and revolutionary spirit.With the development of cultural diversification,college students are influenced by western culture,and their ideas and theoretical beliefs begin to shake.The local red culture contains the revolutionary martyrs’ firm political belief and the great spirit of selfless dedication,which has an important guiding significance for guiding students to firm their ideals and beliefs,improve their moral cultivation,and better inherit the red gene.Therefore,how to integrate the local red culture into the ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and make use of its unique advantages and important values,is an important subject that needs to be discussed in improving the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.The questionnaire survey randomly selected Wuchang college students,found that the students have a low awareness of local red culture,the school did not introduce the local red culture in place,the campus communication mode is single and other problems;Through the analysis of the current situation of education of local red culture in colleges and universities,it is found that due to the influence of wrong ideological trend,insufficient attention of colleges and universities and related departments,the above problems occur in the process of integrating local red culture into ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Adhere to the problem-oriented,the current use of local red culture in ideological and political education in colleges and universities should follow the principles of subjectivity,orientation,permeability and demonstration.Strengthen the construction of the main position of classroom teaching,compile the teaching materials with local red culture characteristics,integrate the teaching content,and innovate the teaching methods;Enhance local red culture education practice,the construction of practice education base,red tourism,red announcement,highlight the theory and the practice unifies: on the carrier of campus culture,the construction characteristic of local red culture building facilities,rich campus culture activities,local red culture actively build campus network platform;To enhance the local red culture of teachers,strengthen teaching training,improve the assessment methods;Enhance students’ subject consciousness in learning local red culture and realize the mutual conversion between theory and practice.The inheritance and innovation of local red culture should be integrated into the whole process of ideological and political education in colleges and universities to promote the improvement of the level of ideological and political education and the all-round development of college students’ quality.
