Research On Optimization Of New Oriental’s Financing Strategy

It takes ten years to build a tree,but a hundred years to build a man.As the largest population country in the world,the talent strategy of China has risen to the level of national strategy.With the continuous improvement of the country’s comprehensive national strength,the current educational resources cannot meet people’s needs.Education is the foundation,the number of private educational institutions has increased sharply.Private educational institutions expand their scale through financing and listing.In 2006,New Oriental Education and Training Institution was officially listed in the United States.The listing of New Oriental started a wave of Chinese private education listings overseas and in Hong Kong.However,most of the domestic education and training enterprises are mainly small enterprises,which is difficult to expand.As the first listed company in the education and training industry,New Oriental’s business history provides valuable experience for the development of subsequent education and training companies.This article takes New Oriental as the research object,takes the enterprise life cycle as the main line,and uses qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis as the main research methods to carry out this research.In terms of qualitative research,it mainly analyzes the financing situation of New Oriental in four dimensions:financing timing,financing method,financing scale,and financing risk;In terms of quantitative research,analyze the financing status of New Oriental in the three dimensions of financing scale,financing cost,and capital use efficiency.In this way,New Oriental’s financing strategies in different life cycles are drawn,and its financing problems are exposed.Finally,optimize the design from two aspects of long-term financing planning and short-term financing strategies.
