Abstract/Summary:
Since the 1990s,introducing and universally using Internet has opened a prologue for the new age which has never been showed before."Internet Plus" first appeared in government work report in 2015,then President Xi put the strategy using Internet into a national strategy.since then,the Internet has reached a higher stage.It is universally acknowledged that the development of the Internet is an important strategy,thus our government emphasize to use the Internet actively.Recently,"artificial intelligence","big data","deep learning" has witnessed the innovation of the Internet greatly.There is a new trend that Internet acting as a new growth point of economic has penetrated deeply into society.Thanks to the Internet,there is a better information flow as well as efficient use of resources,what is more,people’s welfare is higher and the society earns a long-term development.Therefore,we ought to understand the Internet’s impact on family educational investment so that we can let Internet act its positive role to education.In the 21st century,as core factor of human capital,education has more voice in the talent competition,and merit the reward of promoting the economic development.Among all the human capital investment,education investment is the most basic section.It also provides the core internal power to technical improvement and industrial upgrading and so on which has played a totally indispensable figure.As environment changes,education investment’s construction has become more consummate in China.At first,government plays a main role in education investment because of the financial policy.Then,family as an individual investor stars to show its unique function.Nowadays,the proportion of family education investment is heavier and heavier which has become the core section in the education investment.From what has been discussed above,it is definitely necessary for us to figure out the decision mechanism of family education investment,so that we can understand the investment system better and to raise the human capital transformation efficiency at the same time.What is more,it can help to guide the behaviors when parents need to make their investment choice.And the last but not the least,it will bring theoretical and factual basis for the allocation of educational resources.At present,studies on the Internet are mostly focused on economic society,enterprise strategy,teaching innovation,etc.Some of them are used to understand the role that Internet has played on the economic,some are used to work out if there is an impact to human capital under the use of Internet.We are sorry to find that researches among macroscopic and mesoscopic account for a large part,while studies are rare which is in a microscopic perspective.Researches on influence to economic under the financial investment are pretty much,However,researches on the impact between Internet use and family education investment are insufficient.Besides,the empirical research in this field usually uses provincial,municipal or county resources as data,it is rare to think it in a microscopic way.Therefore,in order to increase the innovation and practical value,this paper will study from the following points: Firstly,make sure the impact between internet use and family education investment in a more detailed way.Secondly,try to find out that if Internet affect it under different forms.Thirdly,figure out the methods of dealing with the problems often showed in education investment by using Internet scientifically.This paper will begin with the literature review on the related fields,then summarize the concept and principle of family education investment at the basis of relevant theory.After that,basing on CFPS2016,do empirical research using the least squares method and stepwise regression and then reduce the endogeneity problems by LOGIT model and Propensity score matching which can make the result more stable.We can see from the empirical results that Internet use has a significant positive impact on family investment in children’s education as well as the length and frequency of Internet use along with the positive thought on it.At last,some practical and constructive countermeasures and suggestions are given based on the conclusion above.
