With the continuous improvement of the running systems in colleges and universities,and the upgrading of the concept of talent cultivation,the cultivation policy of professional management talents also needs to seek for continuous improvement.The problem of changing majors has always been the focus of college students’ concern,but students who are considering changing their current majors have not been paid enough attention to,and some students are in a confused state after changing majors,which seriously affects their study and mental health.Some students even drop out of school because of maladjustment.Therefore,studying on the management status and countermeasures of changing majors has been concerned by universities and the society.How to construct a comprehensive and perfect management strategy is always the question of researchers.At present,the society and universities continue to track the success of the students who have changed majors,the number of which is still few.It is ten years ago that the research on changing majors was carried out in Taizhou University,In the new era,it is necessary to analyze the problems and causes in the management system and the management process of changing majors,to explore the countermeasures and suggestions on how to strengthen the teaching management of students in Taizhou University.By studying the management system of changing majors in China and Zhejiang province,drawing on the excellent management experience of other institutions,from the perspective of professional management,this thesis makes a statistical analysis of the situation of the students who change majors in Taizhou University.In addition,questionnaire survey and individual interviews are conducted on the students,to have a detailed understanding of the current situation of students and the changes in their study,life,psychology and other aspects after changing majors,to find the problems in the process of changing majors management.For example,insufficient publicity of policies and measures,teaching management failing to keep track of follow-up management,the students who change majors not having got enough attention,and so on.At the same time,it summarizes the main outstanding experience in the management work of changing majors,based on the current exploration and analysis,to further improve the professional management effect.Combined with the practical investigation of the current situation of the management,from three aspects of system management,teaching staff,and students management,this thesis explores the countermeasures and suggestions for strengthening the teaching management of students who have changed majors in Taizhou University.For example,selecting the inferior to the superior teaching related system,innovating and optimizing the teaching management,paying attention to the quality of teaching monitoring,coordinating teaching and management,strictly implementing the management requirements,constructing multidimensional education,strengthening the organizational leadership and detail management,timely communicating and coordinating,paying attention to students’ mental health.It really lays the foundation for cultivating excellent compound application talents.
