Mental health curriculum is the main way of mental health education in schools, which has different types.Among them, the subject curriculum is the foundation, mainly in the form of classroom teaching to impart the psychological knowledge that students must master, pay attention to knowledge teaching;activity curriculum is the core, adhering to the concept that activity is the intermediary of cognition, and put the educational content in activities.Pay attention to activity experience and self-improvement.With the implementation of the new college entrance examination reform and the adjustment of the national college entrance examination policy for ethnic minority students, the academic pressure of ethnic minority students may be affected.Based on this, this study selects the ethnic high school students as the object, takes the academic pressure as the theme,By comparing the changes in academic stress levels,so as to verify and compare the effects of the two mental health courses, and finally provides some reference for the construction of the mental health course system in ethnic minority areas. In this study,452 high school students in their second year of high school were tested on their academic stress level through cluster random sampling by using the questionnaire on academic stress of middle school students compiled by Xu jiajun,etc.(2010)and the Chinese version of positive and negative emotion scale verified by Huang Li etc.(2003).Then,according to the test results, three classes with no significant difference were selected and randomly divided into experimental group 1,experimental group 2 and control group. After then, the experimental group was given mental health courses and activity courses for two months. Finally, the experimental group and the control group were post-tested.The results are as follows:1.Compared with the control group, the total score of post-test academic stress in the discipline curriculum group was significantly lower than that in the control group(t =-2.608,P = 0.011),and the score of negative emotion was significantly lower than that in the control group(t =-2.170,P = 0.034),indicating that the discipline curriculum effect was significant.2.Compared with the control group, the total score of post-test academic stress in the activity curriculum group was significantly lower than that in the control group(t =-4.693,P = 0.000),and the score of negative emotion was significantly lower than that in the control group(t =-4.396,P = 0.000),indicating that the effect of the activity curriculum was significant.3.The post test results of the subject curriculum group and the activity curriculum group showed that the total score of academic stress(t = 2.302,P = 0.025)and the negative emotional score(t = 2.048,P = 0.045)of the subject curriculum group were significantly higher than those of the activity curriculum group, which indicated that the mental health activity curriculum was more effective than the subject curriculum.Based on the above results,it can be seen that the effect of activity curriculum on the moderate academic stress level of ethnic high school students is better, and it can even correct the general psychological problems of students;the effect of subject curriculum has also reached a significant level, and the universality and flexibility of subject curriculum on classroom topics are the advantages of subject curriculum. On the basis of this, the study suggests that different types of school-based courses can be developed according to the functional characteristics of different types of courses, different educational themes, the characteristics of student groups, and the current situation of educational resources,so as to promote and improve the construction of mental health curriculum system.
