In today’s society,child abuse and violence against children have become a complicated social phenomenon.Child abuse will leave an indelible wound to children’s body and mind,resulting in many problematic behaviors,so it is difficult for them to adapt to the society.According to the theory of resource protection,it is easy for individuals to have problem behaviors when they are under pressure.As an important research category of positive psychology,psychological capital is an important indicator to measure human psychological resources.The higher the psychological capital is,the more its internal resources are,and it can make individuals produce more adaptive behaviors in the face of pressure.In order to make people understand the current situation and harm of child abuse more clearly,this study analyzes the current situation of child abuse.At the same time,combined with the theory of resource protection,the relationship among child abuse,psychological capital and problem behavior is discussed in depth.In this study,1100 students from a junior high school in Anshun City,Guizhou Province were selected as subjects by using the questionnaire of childhood abuse,psychological capital and problem behavior.SPSS22.0 and PROCESS 2.16 were used to analyze the mediating effect.The results are as follows:(1)The proportion of junior high school students who have been abused in childhood is still high,and the proportion of physical neglect is the highest.There are significant differences in gender among middle school students who suffer abuse in childhood,and the overall level of abuse of boys is higher than that of girls.Thereare significant differences in the location of the family,and the scores of physical neglect and abuse of students in rural areas are higher than those of students living in cities and towns.There are significant differences in family economic level,and the students with poor family economy have higher scores in the dimensions of emotional abuse,physical neglect,emotional neglect and abuse than students with average and better family economic level.There are significant differences in family categories,and the scores of emotional neglect,physical neglect and total abuse scores of the studentswho live with people other than their parents are higher than those of the students who live with their parents.Thereare significant differences in family atmosphere,amd the total score and all dimensions of abusive behavior of the students whose parents often quarreled were higher than those of the students whose parents occasionally quarreled and their parents lived in harmony.(2)The level of psychological capital of junior high school students is good.There are significant differences in the scores of psychological capital of junior high school students in different family atmosphere,and the scores of frequent quarrels are significantly lower than those of occasional quarrels and family harmony families.The total scores of psychological capital of junior high school students are not significantly different in grade,only child,non only child and family location.(3)Junior high school students have more serious problem behaviors and less pro-social behaviors.Boys and girls have significant differences in scores of problem behaviors,and the scores of girls are higher than boys.There are significant differences in the problem behaviors of students in different grades,the scores of students in Grade 9 are higher than those in Grade 7 and grade 8.There are significant differences in the scores of psychological capital among students with different family atmosphere,and the scores of frequent quarrel are significantly higher than those of students with occasional quarrel and family harmony.(4)There is a significant correlation among child abuse,psychological capital and problem behavior in junior school students.The specific performance is: child abuse and problem behavior are significantly positive correlation,and significantly negative correlation with psychological capital;psychological capital and problem behavior are significantly negative correlation.In the dimensions of emotional abuse,physical neglect and emotional neglect,child maltreatment has a significant negative correlation with psychological capital.In terms of physical abuse,emotional abuse,emotional neglect and physical neglect,there was a significant positive correlation with the emotional symptoms,conduct problems,hyperactivity,peer interaction and a significant negative correlation with the pro-social behavior.The dimensions of resilience,hope and optimism of psychological capital are negatively correlated withthe emotional symptoms,conduct problems,hyperactivity and peer interaction.(5)Psychological capital plays a partial intermediary role between childhood abuse and problem behavior.Through research,we can get a more comprehensive understanding of the physical and mental development status of junior high school students,so as to promote and improve the school’s mental health education.In the future research,we can enhance the psychological capital of abused children to intervene the problem behavior,so that they can be more healthy and adapt to the society.
