| With the continuous advancement of the popularization of higher education in China,the scale of graduate students has gradually increased,and graduate education has also become a necessary condition for entry in many industries.Since the autumn semester of 2014,China has completely abolished the graduate public fee system,that is,all graduate students need to pay to go to school.These two backgrounds have prompted more and more graduate students to engage in part-time work during their graduate studies.Postgraduate part-time work has become a common phenomenon.However,will part-time work have an impact on academics? Does it really help employment?In this study,full-time master graduate students of Yunnan University were used as the survey object.The research methods of questionnaires and interviews were mainly used to select 30 postgraduate training units of Yunnan University.Based on stratified sampling and simple random sampling,430 full-time students were selected.The postgraduate questionnaire was issued and combined with in-depth interviews,based on a comprehensive survey of the participation of full-time postgraduate students in part-time work,the binary classification logistic regression analysis method was used to analyze the relationship between part-time and academics,and from the employment choices and employment concepts,Three dimensions of employment advantages to analyze the relationship between part-time jobs and employment.Survey data shows that the overall situation of part-time full-time postgraduate students in Yunnan University is: part-time work is widespread,part-time blindness exists,part-time supply and demand are contradictory,and the proportion of female part-time jobs is higher than that of male students,and the proportion of part-time jobs in Donglu campus is higher than Chenggong campus.,The proportion of postgraduates from rural areas is relatively high,the proportion of postgraduates paying loans for tuition is relatively high,and the proportion of postgraduates serving as student cadres is relatively high;questionnaires and interview data show that the theory of graduate education is deviated from reality and the lack of reasonable graduate students Career planning,the lack of effective part-time management in schools is the main reason why postgraduates are keen on part-time jobs;the study also found that there is a correlation between part-time jobs and academics,and the higher the odds of a part-time job for a liberal arts master,the lower the degree of interest in majors.2.The lower the willingness to read a blog,the higher the odds of part-time work,and the more the number of papers published,the higher the chance of part-time work.Through a survey of graduates ’employment intentions,it was found that part-time work will have an impact on graduates’ employment choices and employment concepts.Part-time experience for improving graduate students Of employment competitiveness has positively helped.Finally,this study puts forward specific suggestions for the education problems reflected by part-time graduate students: First,the level of graduate students themselves.Graduate students should correct their thoughts and plan reasonably,and establish a correct part-time concept;the second is the mentor level.Instructors should actively guide and educate graduate students and provide reasonable part-time advice;the third is the school level.Schools should develop education,guide students to form correct part-time thinking,and set up special part-time counseling agencies to manage part-time postgraduate students,and add postgraduate part-time academic posts to meet the needs of part-time postgraduate students,as well as adjust postgraduate training models and increase practical courses;Fourth,society Level.Society should increase economic investment in colleges and universities and establish a comprehensive social security system. |
