Open access is an open action to promote academic exchanges under the precondition of protecting intellectual property rights.In the basis of sampling survey of PhD students from Kunming institute of zoology chinese academy of sciences,Kunming institute of botany chinese academy of sciences,Xishuangbanna tropical botanical garden chinese academy of sciences and Institute of medical biology chinese academy of medical sciences,there are summed up the 13 influencing factors divided into five dimensions and built modeling and put forward to assumptions through the analysis of theory of reasoned action,theory of planned behavior,unified theory of acceptance and use of technology and technology acceptance model,the summary of the influencing factors proposed by correlational study and the guiding interview.Then according to the influencing factors,questionnaire is designed,released and took back.Data of questionnaire is analysed and explained by SPSS,including reliability analysis,validity analysis,descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and interference analysis of control variables,which explain analysis result and made a conclusion.According to the results of empirical research,career development expectation,achievement display expectation,academic connection expectation,self-efficacy realization,fun of helping others,platform information quality,platform system quality,platform publicity intensity,community influence and national orientation policy have significant positive influence on PhD student’s willingness to participate in open access,while using anxiety has a negative influence on PhD students’ willingness to participate in open access.Finally,according to the results of the empirical research,five aspects are proposed to improve the participation of doctoral students in open access,including improvement PhD student’ s understanding of open access,strengthen the propaganda of open access,improvement the quality of open access platform’s information and system,building the new performance evaluation system of scientific research and launching policies and regulations of open access.
