| Since 2015,the three ministries and commissions issued the "Overall Plan for Promoting the Construction of World-Class Universities and Disciplines",and "World-Class Universities" and "World-Class Disciplines" have been active in academic research as high-frequency hot words.Against the background of the increasing popularity and socialization of higher education,and accelerating the construction of world-class universities and first-class disciplines,China’s higher education has entered a deep-water area of reform.There is no doubt that China realizes that the construction of universities and disciplines needs to be restructured.Especially in the construction of world-class disciplines,analyzing the nature of the generation or growth of world-class disciplines has become a core research topic,and the mining of its generation mechanism has become a concern.It is a fundamental task and project for the healthy and sustainable development of China’s higher education,the construction of a world-class university,and the sound development of the entire discipline construction industry in China.To this end,based on collecting and sorting out existing research results at home and abroad,this thesis uses a combination of theoretical analysis and case analysis to take the world-class disciplines as the primary academic organizations that interdisciplinary and institutions as the main body.From the perspective of organization,based on the definition of world-class disciplines,the composition of elements,the analysis of connotations,and characteristics,based on the theory of self-organization and collaboration,the theory of dissipative structures,and the theory of resource dependence,the world-class discipline is generated as a The theoretical framework of the process.On this basis,the in-depth analysis of the generation mechanism through the organization’s internal and external organizations means,in short,that it is necessary to summarize the influencing factors of first-class discipline generation,explain the process of discipline generation,and clarify the supporting conditions for discipline generation.According to the structure,five factors that affect the generation of world-class disciplines are found according to the structure: organizational team,organizational goals,organizational structure,organizational resources,organizational environment;the basic generation process: internal organization process to external organization process,and then internal process;Supporting conditions: team assembly,goal setting,resource input,structure shaping,and environment formation,and based on this,a macro-micro world-class discipline generation mechanism is derived.Based on the research results of the above two parts,with the help of two world-class discipline cases: Peking University Chemistry and HMS Clinical Medicine,we make a detailed analysis of the discipline’s growth process,from the inception period,growth period,transformation period,and development period.Discuss the characteristics of the stages of the development of the discipline,and verify the generation mechanism through the case.Finally,combined with the current situation of the construction of world-class disciplines in China,we propose strategies to promote the development of world-class disciplines from the three levels of internal organization,external organization,and the coupling of the two.We hope to serve our discipline construction.The difficulty and innovation of this thesis lies in the process of constructing the generation of world-class disciplines from an organizational perspective.Based on the origin of the concept of the discipline and the growth characteristics of the world-class disciplines,it analyzes the influencing factors of the generation of world-class disciplines.Basic process,and support conditions,making it easy to show the generation mechanism of world-class disciplines in an intuitive form.This not only broadens the perspective of world-class discipline generation research,enriches the content of world-class discipline generation research,but also deepens the social and academic circles’ more specific cognition of first-class discipline generation,and is more conducive to providing new perspectives,new ideas,useful reference and thinking for the real world-class discipline construction. |
