Research On The Cultivation Of College Students Socialist Core Values Under The New Media Environment

The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China condensed 24-word "socialist core values",advocating the active cultivation and advocacy of the whole society.The socialist core values are an important force in the realization of the Chinese Dream,which can effectively promote the harmonious development of society and provide correct spiritual guidance for the modernization drive.General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed the fundamental task of establishing moral character in institutions of higher learning,and training college students to become useful talents for the development of the motherland.College students are the main force of China’s modernization drive and the backbone of the realization of the Chinese dream.Nowadays,the society is becoming more and more information-oriented,and the new media is developing vigorously.It has already penetrated into our life and influenced our way of life and thinking.As an important user group of new media,college students are influenced by it all the time.The multi-value concept emerging from the new media platform has a subtle influence on the formation of college students’ values.At present,in the new media environment,there is an urgent need to build a harmonious and good network environment,strengthen the positive guidance of college students’ thoughts,carry forward the main theme,and consolidate the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field,enhance the cohesiveness and attractiveness of mainstream ideology.Therefore,it is urgent to carry out the cultivation of socialist core values for college students.This article first takes the new media as the starting point of the study,combs the related concepts,and explains the new media and the socialist core values of the basic theory.Secondly,through the way of Investigation and study,this paper comprehensively analyzes the present situation of college students’ application of the new media,their cognition of the socialist core values,and their cultivation of the socialist core values by using the new media.Thirdly,based on the results of this investigation and research,comprehensive analysis and detailed summary of the problems in the cultivation process,this paper discusses the problems from four aspects: The inadaptability of cultivation to the change of environment,the singleness of cultivation methods,the insufficiency of cultivation personnel,and the marginalization of cultivation.And through the problem appearance,from many aspects in-depth analysis of the causes of the problem.Finally,this paper puts forward the Four Cardinal Principles that should be set up when cultivating the socialist core values of college students,and then carries on multi-angle and multi-level thinking to the cultivation countermeasures,this paper analyzes the cultivation management,cultivation means,cultivation team and cultivation object in order to improve the cultivation effect.In the present age,it is an important mission of colleges and universities to lead college students in thinking.We should make full use of new media,seize the opportunity of the times,vigorously carry forward the main theme,and create a new pattern of ideological and political education,efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the cultivation of socialist core values,so that the mainstream ideology really into the mind.
