Research On College Students’ Socialist Core Values From The Perspective Of New Media

In the context of globalization,relying on the rapid development of new media technology,cultural exchanges and blending between countries are constantly taking place,and ideological concepts and ideologies are also generating fierce competition.How to ensure that the distinctive political positions of college students do not deviate under the tide of globalization is particularly prominent at this time.As a way of transmitting cultural heritage and values,core values education plays a pivotal role in promoting the development of China’s socialism in the new era,bearing the heavy responsibility of cultivating socialist builders and successors for China.Through a study of the value trends in the political,economic,cultural,and ideological fields from the perspective of contemporary new media,it is found that the current international and domestic anti China forces and the Western society led by the United States often use "democracy,freedom,and human rights" as means to suppress other countries,destroy their political power,and launch a "color revolution" to create social unrest.At the same time,it also invades and infiltrates socialist values,attacks our party’s leadership and creates ideological opposition with democratic pretensions,and interferes with China’s internal and foreign affairs.Currently,it is mainly spread and infiltrated through the organizational form of "new media".So how do we adapt to the new media perspective to cultivate college students’ core socialist values and respond to Western intrusion and challenges.From the analysis of the western core value system,they try to use "democracy" and "human rights" to create chaos and confuse the public,use the media and public knowledge to slander,discredit and deny the leadership of the Party,use utilitarianism to meet the needs of young people,and deny our core values.Therefore,as the forefront of ideology,universities should take the core value system as the main framework under the leadership of the Party,and dominate the thinking logic of college students with socialist core values.The analysis found that while enriching and expanding people’s thinking,new media,if subjected to the intervention and operation of market economy and capital,will generate purposeful ideological dissemination,which will have an impact on the mainstream ideology of the Chinese nation.Therefore,it is necessary to deeply criticize "historical nihilism","public known improper speech",and so on.At the same time,the core value system proposed by China since the sixth plenary session of the 16 th Central Committee is the main thread.This article analyzes the current problems in core value education,and proposes corresponding countermeasures and measures to determine the methods and approaches of core value education,establish the ideals and beliefs of college students,and better cultivate new generations for socialist construction.
