| Emotional regulation strategy refers to the adjustment strategies adopted by individuals in response to negative emotional situations,including venting strategy,passive coping strategy,alternative activity strategy,self-consolation strategy,problem solving strategy and cognitive reconstruction strategy.Delayed satisfaction is an individual’s ability to reject immediate rewards in favor of long-term,more valuable rewards in the face of temptation.It is also a positive and fundamental personality factor.Moreover,in the process of delaying gratification,it does require individuals to suppress the impulse for immediate gratification and regulate the negative emotions that accompany the impulse suppression.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the relationship between emotional regulation strategy and leaded the way of emotional education,delayed satisfaction education and self control education in preschool period.The research object of this delayed satisfaction and its predictive effect study are120 children and their parents randomly choose from three kindergartens in Chongqing.Test children’s gratification ability through test their gift gratification.And investigate the emotional regulations strategies of children through analysis the questionnaire of emotional regulations strategies of children which filled by their parents.Analysis the relationship between the investigation and the result of questionnaire we can draw the following conclusions: First,when face of negative emotions,preschool children tend to choose alternative activity way of emotion regulation.Second,there are significant differ in the emotional regulation strategies of preschool children in different grades;there was no significant difference neither in other strategies of preschool children in different grades nor in the emotional regulation strategies of different genders.Third,The delay time and delay score of preschool children in different grades are significantly different,and there were no significant differences in delay strategies.Forth,There is a correlation between emotional regulation strategies and delayed satisfaction.Fifth,Gender and grade have an impact on the relationship between emotional regulation strategies and the score and time of delayed satisfaction.Sixth,there are predictive effects of emotional regulation strategies for preschool children on delayed satisfaction.Seventh,Gender and grade had an impact on the existence of predictive effect of children’s emotional regulation strategies on delayed satisfaction.In response to the above research results.The author puts forward the following suggestions for improving children’s ability to choose emotion regulation strategies and children’s ability to delay gratification: First,children should be helped to understand their emotions and accept their negative emotions.Second,we must seize the opportunity of education to enhance children’s ability of delay gratification,and finally,use limited resources to promote the diversified development of children’s self-control ability. |
