Social communication disorder is one of the core symptoms of children with autism.Children with autism have some defects in their ability to describe emotions, and have difficulty in understanding and expressing metaphors, jokes, irony and other non-literal language, which may affect their social development.Since the use of metaphorical language is very common in the social dialogue and written expression of children, and emotion plays an important role in the life of autistic children,it is necessary to teach autistic children to express emotions by metaphor. The purpose of this study was to explore the effectiveness and social validity of the stimulus equivalence program in relation framework theory in the intervention of metaphorical expression of emotion in autistic children. This study used a single case design of the experimental design of multi-probe cross-behavior.In this study,3 school-age children with autism aged 8-12 years were selected. The independent variable is the stimulus equivalent program based on the relational framework theory, which refers to the correct response to the untrained and without reinforcement "stimulus-stimulus correlation" after reinforcing some "stimulus-stimulus correlation".The dependent variable is the ability to express emotions by metaphor, including five emotions: happy, sad, afraid, angry and nervous. The research data in this study were analyzed by means of inter-observer consistency analysis, social validity analysis and visual analysis. The results show that the stimulus equivalence relationship in relation framework theory has good immediate and sustained effect on the intervention of emotional expression by metaphor in autistic children, and has good social validity. Finally, according to the research process, research results and research limitations, researchers also put forward suggestions for future research and teaching, hoping to provide reference and inspiration for future research and teaching.
