Research On The Efficiency Evaluation Of Higher Education Resources Allocation In Guangxi

With the popularization of higher education,the higher education career of Guangxi province has made great progress.The ever-expanding scale of higher education has led to the growing shortage of resources and the increasingly prominent contradiction between the supply and demand of educational resources,which restricts the steady development of general higher education in Guangxi.From the current situation of the distribution of higher education resources in Guangxi,improving the efficiency of Guangxi higher education resource allocation is an important measure to solve the shortage of higher education resources in Guangxi.Higher education resources are the prerequisites for the quality and scale of higher education in Guangxi,and provide a guarantee for high-quality practitioners for regional economic development.Therefore,the research on the resource allocation efficiency of Guangxi higher education has certain theoretical and practical significance.Based on the basic theory of educational economics,the thesis comprehensively uses the combination of theoretical analysis,empirical analysis,comparative analysis and other methods to study the efficiency of Guangxi higher education resource allocation.First,this thesis elaborates on the basic theory of higher education resource allocation efficiency;then describes the regional distribution,input and output of higher education resources in Guangxi;and then uses DEA analysis to evaluate the efficiency of higher education resources in Guangxi,and Using Tobit model to examine the influencing factors of Guangxi higher education resource allocation efficiency.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)From 2008 to 2018 in Guangxi,the investment in human resources,material resources and financial resources of higher education has been increasing year by year,and the allocation of higher education resources has reached a certain efficiency,but the level is not high;(2)The efficiency of resource allocation in colleges and universities in Guangxi is not determined solely by the funding of education,but depends on the optimization of the combination of resource inputs.Only by guaranteeing the per capita funding of colleges and universities,paying close attention to the teaching staff,improving the quality of personnel training,and improving the evaluation system can we effectively improve the efficiency of Guangxi higher education resource allocation.
