| The information age puts forward higher requirements for the training of vocational talents. At present, schools do not pay enough attention to the cultivation and development of higher-order thinking skills of secondary vocational students, which greatly affects and limits their career development.Modern education technology has also brought a huge impact on traditional teaching methods. The drawbacks of traditional teaching have become more and more obvious.Classroom teaching basically stays at the low-order thinking stage, lacks in the cultivation of higher-order thinking skills, and lacks the initiative of students in learning.Lack of innovation and team spirit.Project-based learning advocates the use of heuristic,inquiry-based,participatory,cooperative and other concepts to carry out teaching, and builds a new teaching model with students’ active participation, collaborative communication, and exploration and innovation. This article mainly studies how to use Project-based learning methods to cultivate and develop the higher-order thinking skills of secondary vocational students in the teaching of professional courses. It uses literature analysis, questionnaire surveys, interviews, and experimental research methods to conduct research, and design and optimize project-based The process of teaching activities and the development of related teaching cases are aimed at exploring and innovating the teaching methods of computer graphics and image professional courses in secondary vocational schools, promoting the cultivation of higher-order thinking skills of secondary vocational students, and enhancing the professional quality and comprehensive competitiveness of secondary vocational students. The teaching experiment selected two classes of students in the information technology major of Zhongshan S Vocational School as the research objects, combined with the "graphics and image processing technology" curriculum standards and characteristics to formulate a teaching experiment plan, and divided the courses into image editing tools and text input and color,The three modules of correction and masking channel, and filter special effects are designed to carry out Project-based learning corresponding to the comprehensive tasks of publicity columns, wedding photos, and movie posters. In the process of teaching organization, the operation form of "simulation company" is adopted. The exploration of each project task is divided into four parts: project theme design, project plan formulation, project teaching implementation, and project display evaluation. After three advanced Project-based learning practices, using SPSS tools to analyze the data before and after the "Higher-order Thinking Skills Test Scale",the results show that the advanced thinking ability of the students in the experimental class is significantly improved than the students in the control class. The "Graphics and Image Processing Technology" course test scores of the two classes are comparable, indicating that the higher-order thinking skills teaching focusing on students’ independent learning will not lead to the decline of students’ lower-order thinking ability.Combining with the data of "Project-based Learning Course Study Questionnaire",it is concluded that it is feasible to apply Project-based learning in the course of "Graphics and Image Processing Technology" to cultivate students’ higher-order thinking skills.Learners participate in the Project-based learning process. The analysis, planning, communication, cooperation, design, creation, display, evaluation and other activities done can effectively promote the development of learners’ higher-order thinking skills. |
