Statistical Analysis Of Residents’ Happiness And Influencing Factors

At the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it was pointed out that the major social contradictions in China have been transformed into the contradiction between the people’s growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development.With the enhancement of the comprehensive national strength and rapid economic development,people not only need to meet the material needs,but also need to improve the subjective well-being of the psychological level.As a public service provider,the government is constantly improving social governance and improving residents’ happiness.Therefore,it is necessary to study residents’ happiness.This thesis follows the theme of studying the influencing factors and degree of residents’ well-being,and uses data from the 2017 comprehensive survey of China’s social conditions undertaken by the Institute of sociology,Chinese Academy of social sciences.This thesis constructs the index system of six factors: work development,social security,social ethos,social equity,social security and government service,and estimates the influence and degree of each factor on Residents’ well-being by using structural equation model method,and analyzes the demographic indicators in multiple groups.The conclusion shows that work development,social security and social ethos have a direct and positive impact on Residents’ well-being,and the degree of impact on Residents’ well-being decreases from0.43 to 0.191;government services,social equity and social security have a positive and indirect impact on Residents’ well-being.The degree of influence on Residents’ well-being decreased from 0.3 to 0.049,and the degree of influence on Residents’ well-being decreased from 0.542 to 0.049.Through multi-group analysis,we found that gender,the nature of household registration and residents’ well-being had no impact,while the higher the education level of residents’ work development,the greater the impact of social security of residents with low education level on their well-being.
